Waldbewhoner und Suns of the desert “شموس الصحراء “

3 women from 3 different backgrounds, Together they ask themselves how open our societies are when it comes to foreign cultures. Is it in our nature to keep describing each other in simplified images? Have extreme landscapes like desert and forest produced different cultures? And does this have any impact at all on us modern city dwellers in Cairo, Algiers, Damascus, Hanover or Berlin? To what extent do clichés and stereotypes that we find confirmed by television and social media continue to influence our thoughts and actions?

Funded in the special program Cultural Integration of the Ministry of Science and Culture and by the Cultural Office of the City of Hanover, the Foundation of Lower Saxony and the S-HannoverStiftung.
