Join an Interactive Live Painting and Sound Performance by: Safi Project Launch at B.L.O-Ateliers
Date:08.06.2024
Time:16:00-18:00
Location: B.L.O-Ateliers,
We are excited to invite you to an extraordinary event that combines visual art and sound in a dynamic, interactive performance. As part of the launch of the Safi Project, visual artist Hanaa El Degham and sound artist Lilia Keller will be presenting a captivating live painting and sound performance where audience are also invited to share their personal painted reflections with Hanaa.
Our event is a highlight of the “B.L.O-Ateliers Open Day” a crucial moment in the fight against the displacement of artists from their creative spaces in Berlin, Lichtenberg. In a dramatic turn of events, Deutsche Bahn has announced an immediate ban on entry to the B.L.O. studios, threatening the cultural diversity and livelihoods of over 100 artists. This restrictive measure could also jeopardize numerous planned cultural events and projects funded by federal resources.
Event Highlights:
1. Interactive Live Painting
Witness the mesmerizing process of Hanaa as she brings her canvas to life with vibrant, evocative imagery. Her work, deeply connected to themes of resilience and transformation, will unfold in real-time, inviting you to experience the creative journey alongside her.
